ANDOVER, MA – Today, NAGE SEIU Local 5000 endorsed Dan Koh in the Third District congressional race. NAGE SEIU Local 5000 is one of the largest unions in Massachusetts, representing over 22,000 public employees across the state. This is the twenty-fifth union endorsement that Koh has received, more than any other candidate.

“We are standing with Dan because he’s been standing with us,” said David Holway, President of NAGE SEIU Local 5000. “Dan has a proven track record of fighting for working families, he has actively listened to our input, and he has been prioritizing the issues that matter most to our members. Dan doesn’t just talk about workers’ rights when it’s convenient – he has made it a central focus in his campaign. We need Dan’s leadership in Congress, and we are excited to endorse his candidacy.”

“In Congress, I will be committed to fighting for labor unions everyday, and I’m honored to have NAGE fighting alongside me,” said Koh. “The Trump administration’s constant attack on working families and the organized labor movement is shameful. Now more than ever, we need to stand up for the rights of workers across the Third District and throughout the country.”

About Dan Koh

Dan Koh is the descendant of Korean and Lebanese immigrants who came to the Merrimack Valley seeking the American Dream. Today, Donald Trump is attacking the American Dream that made Dan’s story and millions of others possible. Dan is ready to fight back. He represents a new generation of leaders who will bring fresh ideas to D.C. and stand up for America’s core values. Dan most recently served as Chief of Staff to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, where he oversaw one of the most prosperous times in the city’s history and achieved real progressive results.
